Dinner with the Fam @ Chenang Boat Quay

Phew! What a hectic day yesterday! The family decided we were just going to veg out today the hotel and just take the day easyyyy..

After a completely relaxing day of napping and chilling out by the beach, we decided to have our Pre-Father’s Day/Last Night dinner at a nice restaurant.

Initially, we agreed on Japanese food at the ever popular Unkaizen Japanese Restaurant at Pantai Tengah, but on the way there, Dad decided to take a detour at The Cenang Boat Quay, where a quaint restaurant is located, serving local and international fair, from fried rice to surf and turf!

Once we had arrived at the Cenang Boat Quay, located off the beaten track in Kuala Cenang, we were greeted by Adam Zakhroff, the Operation Manager, and escorted to our table. We had a gorgeous spot, overlooking the ocean with a jetty right below us. This place is definitely a spot I’d take someone for a date!

The atmosphere at the jetty was relaxed and peaceful and with the Sun setting in the backdrop, it created a very comfortable setting for our final dinner together on my family’s short trip to Langkawi.

With so much to choose from on their menu, it was so hard for us to decide what to eat! but after a long hard think and the mutual agreement that we'd be able to try everyone's dishes, we ordered our food. Mom ordered the grilled barramundi, Dad had Pizza Diabola, Hanissya craved for the seafood platter, Baby Malim ate the mushroom soup and I ordered the fettucini carbonara. YUM! And for desert, we shared their famous, Banana Fritter with Ice Cream, which by the way, our former Prime Minister, Yg Amat Berhormat Tun Dr Mahathir orders everytime he comes here!
