Ho Chi Minh City - Streets of HCMC 2

Everywhere you go, you will see a mess of overhead wiring providing electricity and telecommunications to the buildings. It's amazing how something so seemingly chaotic can still function. Just imagine the nightmare of having to fix the wiring when it's down.

Many of the residences in the city are apartments built on narrow city blocks. All these were built individually, and must have their own structural system for support. A lot of ingenuity is required building in such restricted sites.

Here and there, you can still see some remnants of the colonial past.
