Bali Beach: Nusa Lembongan Beach

NUSA LEMBONGAN, is one of the most popular destinations for day cruises on the many pleasure boats sailing from Bali. Depending on whether you sail or motor, the trip can take anywhere from one hour to two and a half.
Location
Nusa Lembongan is one of the smaller islands of the chain of three islands located in the south-east Bali, the Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. The island has a long and 4.6 km wide 1-1,5 km is located approximately 11 km southeast of Bali, or 2 km to the northwest island of Nusa Penida. Administratively, this island including the Klungkung Regency, although separated by the location of the Badung strait island of Bali.

Description
The pristine white sandy beaches with aquamarine bays are brimming with colourful sea life, so diving and snorkelling are very popular sports. The less adventurous can enjoy glass bottomed boat rides. A number of reef breaks are popular with surfers, and the view back to Bali with a looming Mount Agung makes a fabulous backdrop.
The most popular trips are on Bali Hai and Wakalouka, but many smaller crafts also offer day trips with lunch and activities. Lembongan’s larger neighbouring island, Nusa Penida, has a somewhat more ominous reputation and is less popular.
It has several facilities that are ready to indulge such as hotel / bungalows, a restaurant, where art, objects to the sea for diving tours and see the beautiful coral reef in it. To get there, tourists can use boat from Sanur beach, about 2 hours sailing, or about 1.5 hours from the port of Benoa.
Travel across the sea from the port of Benoa Nusa Lembongan we have been able to enjoy the spectacular natural beauty. The condition of sea water seems to be clear that a display that presents the content of the sea. If you are lucky, we can see dolphin in the surface sea water.
As the island that surrounded by the barrier reef, the beach of Nusa Lembongan lips can only be achieved only by using a small boat. So travelers who ride a big boat or a yacht-sized boat must stay smaller if you want to ‘land’.
