It is possible to construct larger, elongated domes by adding more pieces, and joint units allow multiple domes to be connected into a single structure. It is needed about 7 days for build it with 3-4 worker, and price for a home s US$ 30.000.

The ocean name is Phoenix Seagaia. The name Seagaia is a combination of the words “sea” and “gaia”, which is Greek for "earth". It’s located near the Pacific Ocean on Kyushu Island, in Miyazaki, Miyazaki, Japan. Ocean Dome is the world's biggest indoor beach, 100 meters in width, 300 meters in lenght. The indoor beach also boasts of world’s largest retractable roof, providing a permanently blue sky. Temperature, wind and humidity are closely customized in order to provide unparallel seaside experience. Every hour, the hi-tech machines produce artificial waves. Ocean Dome is listed in The Guiness  World Records as the world’s largest indoor water parks.

Lake Akan Ice Dome in Japan
Here’s a very unique dome idea in Japan, a company called Prism. A 24 ft. geodesic dome frame was used to create this icy structure.

It was covered with some type of mesh fabric and then sprayed with water. The water adhered to the mesh and then froze in the cold outdoor environment, creating an icy cover much like an igloo.


The ice dome was lit up at night and even had images projected onto it. The effect was truly dazzling!
The 24 ft. ice dome was one of the displays featured at this year’s Lake Akan Ice Festival in Hokkaido, Japan.The festival, which takes place from late January through late March, is a popular event that mixes winter art, beauty and fun! It incorporates snowmen, igloos and snow and ice sculptures with fireworks and lightshows.
