Miami is Florida's 2nd largest city and the largest metropolitan area in the state.

Known as the Magic City, it was originally settled by the Tequesta Indians thousands of years ago. Today, Miami is fulfilled with lots of tall fantastic Skyscrapers that you would say "WOW". Believe me. A gleaming row of skyscrapers lines Brickell Avenue, the heart of the city's financial district and home to many foreign banks and financial service firms.
The Port of Miami is one of the largest cruise ship ports in the world as well as a major cargo container port in the US. While tourism plays an important role in the economy it is international commerce that truly makes Miami the Crossroads of the Americas. The view at night of this city is totally wonderful. If you’re planning to pop the big question in Miami and still considering ideas, here’s a couple that might be useful, or at least get your wheels spinning a little:
By Beach: You’ve got many options here from taking a walk on the beach at sunset (or even sunrise) to dining at one of the many restaurants on Ocean Drive.
By Boat: Miami’s port is famous for it’s cruises. Asking on a cruise is always romantic.
By Hotel: Perhaps spend the weekend at one of the many hotels in the Art Deco district of Miami. There should be one that fits your taste and will be sure to provide the ambiance to set the mood.

At its best, Miami is all pastel hues and warm, velvety zephyrs – a tropical reverie. The culture is sensuous and physical, often spiked with Caribbean rhythms and accents. Outdoor activities hold sway throughout the area, at the world-famous beaches and in the turquoise waters; the vibrant nightlife, too, attracts pleasure-seekers, while significant historical sights are around every corner.
