Better known as God's Own Country, Kerala is a heavenly portrait splashed with innumerable of enchanting hues. It is a green Venice where nature rules. Kochi In Kochi (Cochin), a slow lividness at the mist-obscured harbor mouth meets the swelling natural flow of the ocean. Cargo-laden barges and country boats move ponderously slow, over the sprawling vastness of the Vembanad Kayal, Kerala's largest lake that spreads full bosomed and silver gray in the sultry sun.
Kozhikode Most important area with lush green country sides, tranquil beaches, historic sites, wildlife sanctuaries, rivers, hills, a unique culture and a warm, friendly ambience make Kozhikode (Calicut) a popular destination.
Kottayam The word Kottayam is an opus of the words Kotta (meaning fort) and Akkam (meaning inside). Kottayam is one of the exotic backwaters sites with a mountainous region with scenic landscapes, backwaters, bird sanctuaries, temples and churches.
Kovalam
Kovalam, meaning "a groove of coconut trees," It consists of two palm-fringed beaches separated by rocky headlands.
Palakkad Palakkad derives its name from the malayalam words pala (alsteria scholaris) and kadu (forest). This place was once a beautiful stretch of forests covered with the sweet-scented flowers of the Pala tree.
Trissur Thrissur, with its affluent history, cultural heritage and archeological wealth is called the cultural capital of kerala. Raja rama varma popularly known as sakthan thampuran was the architect of the present thrissur town.
Kasargode Kasaragod is world famous for its coir and handloom industries. Fishing is a prime source of livelihood. Kasaragod is known as the land of gods, forts, rivers, hills & the beautiful beaches. Kasaragod displays a variety of styles in temple architecture.
Munnar
This place with its hillside rivulets and streams running along the roads, extensive tea plantations, and breathtaking views also has a sizable population of wildlife. The quiet environs of Munnar attract the traveler to relax in the lap of Mother Nature.Kannur Cannanore or more appropriately Kannur as it is known today is a place with a rich history right from the time of the Aryan migration. Kannur district is surrounded by a wealth of natural beauty.
Varkala Varkala is for those who prefer to do absolutely nothing while holidaying. This small town in Kerala is well-known because of the Janardhana Swamy temple, which holds its legend for over 2000 years.
Thekkady It is one of the best places to visit tea, coffee and spice gardens and have a taste of delicious Cardamom tea. Adjacent to it is the Periyar wild Life Sanctuary with its unblemished grasslands and "Blue Mountains".
Wayanad Wayanad is known for its charming mist clad hill stations, sprawling spice plantations, luxuriant forests and rich cultural traditions and one of the districts in Kerala that has been able to retain its immaculate nature.
