The Blue Cave in The Blue Water

The Blue Grotto is a sea cave at Capri island beach, Italy. Why it is called with the blue cave, because the sunlight passing through a cavity under the water creates a blue reflection which then illuminate the cave. The Blue Grotto is one of popular tourism destination in Capri island. The Blue Grotto is also one of the world's caves that flooded with the blue light or brilliant emerald. The quality and character for the color of light is determined by the unique lighting condition in the cave.

For the Blue Grotto, the light is come from two source. One of them is the little hole at the hall of the cave, exactly on surface of water that has a size one meter and diametre is a half meter .

The cave of Blue Grotto had known since the age of ancient Rome,it is be evidenced with discovery of the unique atatues in the cave. The beautiful of Blue Grotto has become more popular after the Germany writer's presentation, Kopisch and his friend Ernst Fries in 1826. They claim that they found a wonder of nature that unknown before they swim at that area.

The Blue Grotto can be reached by motorboat from Marina Grand port, with the bus from Anacapri,or Taxi. Next trip to the cave will continue with motorboat. When it arrived to the cave dooror the cave mouth, you will moved to the lifeboat.

The cave mouth is too narrow, therefore you should to move to smaller boat, even you should to lie down while passing the cave mouth. But you can move free as you want while standing in the cave. In the cave size is bigger than cave mouth.

Unfortunately, the Blue Grotto is can not be visited any season. In worth weather, we can not visited it because of dangerous. The big wave will disturb while entering the cave mouth. Beside that, the cave need the sunlight to create the blue light clearly.

It is about 11,5 euro to enter the cave. Happy journey.
